Coalition to Stop Gun Violence
Vicka Chaplin, MA, MPH, is the Director of Research Translation at the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) and the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence (EFSGV). In this role, Vicka translates research findings into effective gun violence prevention policies, practices, and further research.
Vicka also serves as the Managing Director of the Consortium for Risk-Based Firearm Policy. She oversees the development of the Consortium’s reports and recommendations, administers the Consortium’s convenings and communications, and fosters collaboration among its members and contributors.
An Ann Arbor, Michigan native, Vicka is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned master’s degrees in counseling psychology from Adler University and in public health from the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado – Denver.
