CRIMINALS can buy guns at gun shows WITHOUT background checks in 33 states

What?!  That’s right - due to the Gun Show Loophole, criminals, domestic abusers and those with mental health issues can legally buy guns, including handguns and assault rifles, without undergoing background checks. A staggering 40% of gun sales nationwide take place without a criminal background check.

The gun lobby (led by the NRA) has given over $21 million to Congress since 1990, 86% of it to Republicans1

They try to convince Americans that access to guns equals more freedom.   Could it be that the gun industry has an ulterior motive to push for less gun control?  Maybe the fact that they make millions of dollars each year through the sale of firearms?

9 children die from gun violence EVERY DAY2

Along with 75 adult Americans.  That means a person dies from gun violence every 17 minutes in America.  Yes, people kill people, but without easy access to guns it would be a lot harder.
